Heerby Vintage 1970's Lawsuit-Era Standard Vintage Electric Guitar MIJ Japan

Here is a somewhat rare lawsuit-era 1970’s Japanese Heerby Les Paul Standard. This was made by Kasuga in Japan and we don’t often find them for sale, they were a decent vintage Japanese brand but very short-lived. They are therefore found in much smaller numbers than the Grecos, Burnys and Tokais of the era. No serial but we think this one was made around the mid-late 1970s. Set-neck of course (not a cheaper bolt-on) and streaked rosewood fingerboard. Nicely voiced humbuckers (we haven’t pulled them so not sure what they are, probably Maxons). Comfortable ‘59 profile neck with a sturdy volute and binding. Veneer style construction like a lot of these 70's vintage Japanese Les Paul clones which gives it a resonant almost hollow-body feel and sound. Neck is straight, truss rod fine, plenty of life left in the frets. Weight 3.5kg. Decent condition for the age. Some dings and bumps/ scuffs etc. Nothing bad has happened to its absolutely no breaks or repairs. The strap pins have been slightly repositioned at some point in its history so 2 small pin holes to the side the strap pins. It's had the strings changed, frets polished, board conditioned & set-up etc since the pics were taken. Comes with generic softcase but will be packaged very securely in a purpose designed hard shipping box.
