About This Listing

DESCRIPTION: The Juice Box is a small and straight forward
attenuator for tube amplifiers It has one knob - no switches, no lights,
no battery. It allows you to adjust your tube amp's volume at the
speaker level from a roar to a whisper and everything in between.åÊ Play
your tube amp in it's sweet spot without hurting your ears or angering
your neighbors. It's perfect for getting the right volume in every
situation, without sacrificing your tone. These are made by hand in the
USA by me. In addition to ventilation holes, my enclosures feature professionally painted graphics and
powder coating
for a durable finish, and I test each one for about an hour on my own
amps to ensure quality.

USE: The Juice Box 25 contains a
50 watt L-Pad. However, since tube amps often put out more peak wattage
than they advertise, if you are going to run your amp wide open, I only
recommend it for tube amps up to 25 watts.åÊ (For more powerful amps, use
my Juice Box 50). The Juice Box has one input and one output. Run your
amplifier's 8 ohm speaker out into the Juice Box. Run a second speaker
cable from the juice box to your 8 ohm speaker or cabinet and you're
ready to rock. I test each one of these thoroughly on my own amplifiers
before shipping to you to ensure quality and reliability.

SOUND:
The Juice Box doesn't alter your amps basic tone. It also doesn't thin
it out. Like most attenuators, there is a slight reduction in treble
frequencies if you drop the volume by more than about 50%. This is
easily adjusted at the amp's format end, however. You just dial in a bit
more treble on your amp.

It's
a great little attenuator. It's super simple and sounds tasty. However,
if you disagree for any reason, I will gladly refund your money.

Testimonials:

"This
thing is truly amazing! Honestly everything I was looking for at a
fraction of the price I expected to pay. If you do any session work,
play in small venues/churches, or have noise sensitive neighbors this
product is exactly what you need to achieve high gain tones at low
volume. Unlike other units, such as the Dr. Z brake, it is not
incremental, you can actually scale it as gradually as you choose, which
for a studio setting or for jamming late night is ideal. I have used a
few like it in the studio and in my opinion I would place this product
right up there with a few $400-500 units. If you own a loud tube amp or
love crunchy or super hot tones you gotta get one of these! "åÊ -åÊ Christopher A in Indiana

"Just
picked up a Juice Box from Tubular Mods and gigged with it last night.
Best thing to happen to my tone in a long time. Was able to run my amp
just at the point of break up, but with a livable stage volume. I highly
recommend getting one." - Danny B in Florida

"I
have used the Juice Box with my Fender Super Champ XD and my Pignose
G40V and it works great! I had never tapped into the grit on the Fender
clean channel of the SC XD until I used the Juice Box. Thanks"åÊ -åÊ Cy from Washington

"The
juice box just shines so much with this amp. This is a permanent bridge
between the amp and cab. åÊJust thought I'd let you know how much I like
your Juice Box.åÊThanks again!!!"
