This is a vintage lapsteel that has the claimed six pole independent coils pickup from the 50's that has been used by Ry Cooder in his guitars.
When I bought the instrument the output was very low because someone had rewired one of the coils with thick wire, but Brandonwound pickups repaired this issue and and all the electronics were reviewed
The machine heads are not original, they were replaced with some nice ones from a vintage German guitar acoustic guitar.
The cord is original and has a very stiff cable and original 1/4" male jack.
