A mystery from the land of the rising sun...
Here is an unbranded Japanese hollowbody rocker from the sixties. There is no serial or makings but our guess is it's a Matsumoku or Fujigen build and probably 1969-1975. It has a pre-lawsuit headstock and a gold-foil pup in the neck and the other is period. The electronics are good and it's straight and solid. Truss is working. It has a zero fret (always a bonus). There is some fading on the fretboard
but no scalloping. Certainly could be brought back to life with some love and attention. If you happen to know what this one is, we are all ears.
