For sale is my used 2006 Fender Blues Jr. that I purchased in 2016. When I purchased the amp it included the following Bill M mods: 1) adjustable bias trim pot added, 2) tone stack and bass and mid capacitors replaced with Orange Drop (no change to treble cap), 3) twin stack mod with mid pot jumper added, 4) bright cap C3 removed, 5) phase inverter oscillation prevent by adding 100 pf cap across R30, 6) output transformer replaced with T020 Low Profile, 7) coupling capacitors C2 and C8 replaced with Orange Drops, 8) plastic input jack replaced with metal switchcraft, 9) power switch replaced with center position standby, and 10) filament winding virtual centertap resistors, removed ground from board to chassis. Also, a hole was drilled in the chassis, presumably to add a presence control which is not present.
Recently my amp tech removed and replaced all the solder on the tube sockets and cleaned the tube socket contacts. A prior owner made the following two additional modifications:
1) As evidenced by one of the photos, the amp includes a home-made foot switch. The original foot switch is not included.
2) In the photo of the back of the amp you will see a black plastic panel. This plastic panel covers a hole cut in the back panel of the amp presumably to access the foot switch jack. I would have listed this amp in excellent condition, but for the covered hole on the back panel of the amp.
