The newest Rad-Mod rehab is a 1999 DeArmond S-65 SG with custom painted black face on cream.
New additions:
X4 500K Pots*
X2 NOS K40Y-9 .047uF Capacitors
X4 Knobs
X2 Rings
Tuning machines are original, as is the hardware. A thorough cleaning/polish and a proper setup later, a gritty rock machine emerges. Pups have a nice set of lungs on them. The bridge pup is particularly mean/hot in voice/tone.
The pots I had made as a sample and are a one-off to match performance specs (almost exactly) with pots I otherwise personally prefer.
I have the spec sheets available for those of you who're curious. However, they're not in English.
Comes in hardcase with custom burnt orange lining. The guitar's fit in the case is PERFECTLY snug and secure.
This is a very cool axe for the price. You're going to love it.
