2015 Kenny Hill Signature model with a double Cedar/Nomex/Spruce top, side port holes to redirect more sound towards the player, 650mm scale length, Indian Rosewood back and sides, and an elevated Ebony fingerboard.
This is a beautiful sounding guitar with honest play wear. There is some fingernail scratching on the top, some light wear marks on the bass side of the upper bout, and some marks near the bridge (what seems to be from broken strings). All of these marks are extremely hard to photograph and essentially invisible unless the guitar is in the perfect lighting to see them, though I’ve made some effort to capture them in a few of the photographs. There is also some scratch wear to the back of the headstock. Overall, this guitar was played, used, but not abused.
The tone and playability are wonderful. The guitar rings out with a loud and sweet tone that is both focused and rich. This guitar was well played for a reason. It sounds and plays amazingly!
Overall, this is a fantastic guitar with honest wear looking for a new home. At a new price of $9,500, this is a great way to get a fantastic guitar at a slightly more affordable price. Comes in a very nice heavy-duty hard case.
