DESCRIPTION: This is another unique instrument built by the late English builder, David Gregory. It is based on a 1910 model F4. Since it wasn’t commissioned and was made by the builder because of the love of this style, it does not have a serial number. Unfortunately, David died during this build, thus it is his final instrument. The matte finish was completed by Gordon Hewson and Martyn Banks at Oakwood Instruments in Leeds.
It has an open, long sustain, and incredibly loud sound throughout the neck. Great for chordal playing, celtic music, and if you’re looking for that F4 open sound.
