GIBSON Custom Shop Peter Frampton solidbody electric guitar  "Phenix" Inspired Les Paul Custom (CSPFPXVOEBGH1) is a replica of the artist's original  artist's original 1954 Les Paul. It has become a mythical instrument  since it appeared on the cover of Frampton's LP Comes Alive in  1976. Sold with Custom Shop case and certificate  certificate of authenticity.   Since 2014, Gibson has been using "Hot Hide  Glue" with the characteristics of adhesives used in the 50s.   Derived from animal proteins, it has the particular advantage of  simplify maintenance and repairs.   Features :

Nitrocellulose varnish, as on vintage Gibson instruments, plays a major role in the instrument's "breathing" thanks to its porous nature (vibrations are not muffled by the varnish). On the other hand, this varnish is relatively sensitive to contact with the plastics and foams of certain stands, as well as to certain excessively detergent cleaning products.
