This Dobro is among the rarest models of the OMI era, likely only produced for one year, and is also one of the finest, featuring single cone construction with a biscuit bridge, maple body, and a birdseye maple neck capped with a rosewood fretboard.

Tonally, this D90 has a full-bodied tone with a glassy immediacy and punch. The overtones are sweet and singing, and there’s a smoothness to the trebles that complements the warm, barking low end. Additionally, there's a natural articulation and shimmer emblematic of maple as a tonewood, and this resonator is very responsive to user inputs. Weighing 5lbs 10oz, this D90 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 12-53 bronze strings and medium action that enables both slide and fingerstyle playing.

Crack-free and very well-kept, cosmetic wear on the gloss Natural finish is limited to a scant few faint scratches and tiny nicks on the body as a whole, largely limited to the back, and there's a touch of rack rash adjacent to the nut. The neck profile retains its smooth gloss.
