This museum-quality 80+-year-old guitar has been meticulously maintained and is in immaculate condition. All the hardware appears to be original, including the OHSC. There is no sign of buckle, pick wear, separations, or cracks. The Tuners are tight and operate smoothly with medium gauge strings. The guitar holds pitch well and plays effortlessly on the original frets, as well as the Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard that extends over the spruce top. The sides and back are beautifully figured maple, nicely bound, and show little signs of wear. One would be hard-pressed to find another prewar archtop as playable as this Vega C-66 in such a pristine condition.

"When an item has been used but only has minor cosmetic defects, this can be considered Excellent. Minor surface-level scratches, such as pick marks from regular use, would qualify".
