About This Listing

Hyperion, Great Sounding Parametric EQ - A-La SSL style. However, this stereo EQ can be used in several modes: Stereo, Dual Mono, and M/S. It also has two complete preset options - and A & a B that allows you to instantly recall your settings. The Devices is fully analog but with digital controls so that you can recall it from a computer or even control it with some of WESAudio's DAW-based plugins. Beyond the Parametric Functions of an SSL style EQ this also has a "narrow" gain range to tweak more precisely, and Wes Audio's THD circuit with two flavors like their other offerings.

We have personally used these devices for productions that have received high critical acclaim. You can google my engineering work "Nick Tipp" if you would like to. They are very good EQs and I've even used them via plugin automation, a really versatile piece of kit! Someday soon Wes Audio is going to be very popular.

Unlike other 500-series offerings, there isn't a "loss of tone" that these modules suffer because of inadequate power supply. Use them with a Wes Audio TITAN (It has some nice features, 10-space 500 series rack, allows all modules to be controlled via one USB instead of a USB in the front of every Wes module) for the most important feature: an external specially designed power supply with a toroidal transformer inside.

I have used many other manufacturers' 500 series models in these TITAN racks and the ALL sound a lot better than other 500-series enclosures. We'll be selling a couple TITANs, keep an eye out for those!

We're Needing to pay some bills so we're liquidating a bunch of 500 Series stuff right now. There are 5 Hyperions we are selling. This is #1.
