Buffet Crampon R13 Silver Clarinet--New Pads, Vandoren 5RV, Gorgeous!

One of several Buffet Crampon clarinets we are offering for sale.  This is an R13 in Bb, s/n 308XXX, roughly 1988.  It is in excellent condition:   vintage grenadilla body with a nice, tight grain and no chips, cracks, or repairs.  Tenons are square with no wobble between joints.  Silver plated rather than nickel, which is about a $520 upgrade, and nearly 99.9% intact with little plating wear, if any at all.  As you can see from the photos, it is a beautiful instrument.All new pads immediately prior to our acquiring it, and just gone over by our shop where it was bore oiled and had very minor adjustments to bring it into exceptional playing condition.  A dark, full tone with moderate resistance and excellent projection.  Key oil and cork grease are for local pickup only, but it does include a Vandoren 5RV mouthpiece and Rovner inverted ligature.  All in the slim pochette case—perfect for bags and backpacks.  Sells new at WWBW for a whopping $4,678 these days, so save more than $2,700, and put your tax refund to good use!
