I take high-resolution photos so you know exactly what you're looking at!ÃÂ The photos exaggerate a lot of things through perfect angles and lighting that are otherwise naked to the eye but I believe in under promising and over delivering.
This guitar has been played in home studio only, never gigged. ÃÂ The guitar is almost flawless from the front. The back fell to an unfortunate accident where I dropped a screw in the gig bag I was carrying this in and it scratched the back. If you're a collector, this isn't for you but if you want a smooth playing, Japanese quality instrument to actually play and not care how the back of it looks, this is a lot of bang for the buck.
Professionally setup for low, smooth action.ÃÂ
Product Description
Evolution doesn't have to mean more complicated. The SC and SCA S Classic axes and the new SZ have evolved into even simpler instruments than their famous S ancestor. The comfortable slim body with fat mahogany tone and sustain that made the S famous is there -- but the SZ and S-Classics feature simple fixed bridges and a 25.1 scale neck that has a different feel than the S guitar's 25.5 scale.
Features:
SC Neck -- The 25.1 in. scale SC neck is looser in feel than Ibanez' 25.5 in. RG necks, but not as loose as their 24.75 in. Artstars. The bolted-on All-Access neck joint allows the easy access to the upper frets associated with set-in and neck-thru joints.
Mahogany Body -- Mahogany provides rich warm lows and sweet sustain
Rosewood Finger Board -- Rosewood offers a strong, bright sound and an attractive appearance with a long grain
SCA Series Features:
25.1 in. neck scale offers a feel that's tighter than a Les Paul, but looser than a Strat.*
Tonal versatility of V Series pickups combined with the Special-5 switching system.
Mahogany body and Shortstop tail piece for rich, fat tone with superb sustain.
