Tokai 1983 Vintage S Style Japanese Silver Star Piano Black Japan MIJ Fender

Up for grabs is this cool vintage 1983 Tokai Silver Star SS-38. It’s a great looking & playing Piano Black CBS style build. It has an alder body with a maple neck, large resonant headstock, fast neck w/ skunk stripe and 3 bolt neckplate. It has an Indian rosewood fingerboard, 3 ply scratchplate and tremolo arm. This one is well along the road to being a real vintage looker. It plays beautifully and the old wood feels very resonant. Nice weight too at 3.5kg so not a boat anchor. The slender rounded c profile neck is dead straight, truss rod is working fine and years left in the frets. The maple has darkened over the years and looks very cool. There are dings/scratches on the guitar as you’d expect but nothing bad has ever happened to it.  This thing is a dream to play, resonant and balanced and has the classic looks of a true vintage aged Japanese Tokai Strat. It's has a set up since the pics nd has new strings etc. A very cool guitar. Complete with tremolo arm and gigbag. Vintage Japan at it's very best.
