Warwick Corvette $$ Tigerwood Limited Special Edition - Made in Germany

This is a very light Warwick bass weighing in at approximately 3.82 kg!!!

I acquired this awesome limited-edition NOS (new old stock) from a very reputable music store in 2019. It was new and sealed in its original Warwick packing box.

Stamp on the back of the neck reads: Made in Germany, 2011 – 016/020 which indicates that it was built in 2011 and is number 16 out of 20 built. As the serial number is written on the Certificate of Authenticity, (picture included), all specs could be confirmed with Warwick.

Over the years I have kept very good care of this beautiful instrument and have never taken it out of my home. The bass has been well maintained and has been regularly nourished with the recommended Warwick Surface Finisher. Showing very minor signs of wear below the neck pickup, (refer to pictures), this bass looks and feels just like new!

Included is an original Warwick Rockbag, hardcover owner’s booklet, instruction manual, Warwick cleaning cloth & wax, (opened & used), allen and truss rod keys for setup. I’m also including a comfortable matching aftermarket strap. Everything is in great condition and has been stored in a non-smoking environment.

My personal playing opinion; This is an extremely versatile bass that sounds and plays as great as it looks. Its ergonomic lightweight body and neck makes it easy to play sitting or standing for hours on end. The user-friendly $$ MEC passive / active electronic system sounds great with all styles of music. The neck profile is thin to medium similar to that of a jazz bass. With low action, the entire neck register is smooth, comfortable and fast. Great job Warwick!

The bass was recently set up with a new set of 50/105 roundwound strings.
