About This Listing

This is basically a new guitar. I probably have 4 hours of combined play time on it. It’s an exciting guitar to own especially for recording. It’s amazing. It has this cello like range that thickens the hell out of the rest of the stringed instrument. sounds so Rich and beautiful when strumming it. And also allows a guy like me “baritone” to sing songs typically wayyyyy out of my reach lol. I think I bought it around 2013 and I thought it was the previous years model because the music store dude who sold it to me new said that. The guitar is a limited which Taylor does a couple times a year on a few different models.

I liked this one because it had the four series appointments. Usually the ones under two grand are three series which are just a little cheesier. I feel for series is when you get a professional level Taylor. It really is pretty. The body is Ovangonkal? Somehting like that? Taylor uses it often and it’s very mohogany like. The back and the neck have some very cool figuring. it’s a Taylor, just nice all over. Has the newer expression series 2 or 3? The newest one. So you can plug it in and rock out. It’s a truly amazing guitar and I just don’t play it enough. Got it for a recording project that didn’t happen so it’s time to cut it loose.

I took off the pickguard when I got it but they are cheap and easy to replace if that’s more your thing. They just peel and stick like a sticker. and I also replaced the truss rod cover. Which can be purchased for under $20 from a ton of places. However I don’t have the old one so that’s for the new owner to decide on. Thanks for looking.

PS: Also including a set of brand new elixers for it :)
