Monoprice Pre Indio Late 90s early 2000s - Poly black

Lots of upgrades and pre Indio so real rosewood fretboard. Can't remember when this was bought but I've been playing and gigging for 30 years and used this on stage many times. Has different pickups then original.There hotter bridge loves gain, neck can give you the warm fuzzy and middle position sounds good for clean. Tuners been replaced at some point and hold tune well feel solid and tight. Put a roller style lock down bridge with tailpiece, posts are good and tight no leaning or wobble at all. Just put new nickle fret wire and upgraded to medium jumbo also been leveled and dressed fret board oiled. Electrical cavity is insulated and wired 50s style w/ 500k pots. 2 way truss rod. I don't have radius gauges but I seem to remember it was a compound 12-16in radius the profile is C to D though and not to thick not to thin. The neck is painted gloss and first thing I did was scuff up the back of the neck to make sure it didn't stick when humid outside. Nut is cut extremely well. Guitar was just cleaned and polished had a complete set up with intonization. If your looking for your first guitar or you have some callous already and need a good back up with the up grades you won't find anything on Amazon at this price point especially one that's been gig tested. I really liked that it's solid but not to heavy around 8lbs and didn't hurt my back at the end of the night. As long as your not a name snob on guitars and are only worried about playability and what comes out the input jack when you hit a fat power cord then this will do you just fine. Has a new D'Addario set of 10s , will be loosened for shipping also I use real guitar shipping boxes and after bagging the guitar I pack around it to make sure it can't move. Now I'm not including a gig bag I use world tour bags unless a full price offer is paid but it'll be well protected to minimize the oh so conscience and extremely careful transport and warehouse people accidental drop, kick or punch lol. In all seriousness it's served me well but I'm getting rid of some of my older guitars so I can buy some more and still stay married lol. I want to add it has some minor scratching from actually playing the thing and one small chip I tried to get a pic of it. A few discoloration spots on neck binding from years of abuse but I've always taken care of my equipment and the older I get the more obsessed I get about it lol.
