About This Listing

What an absolute CLASSIC! First appearing in '61, the Epiphone Casino has accompanied some of the most iconic players of all time. Notably, Keith Richards, John Lennon, George Harrison, Gary Clark Jr., and the list just goes on.

Resonant, ultra playable (thanks in part to our brilliant guitar techs), and a total stunner. This particular build features a Mahogany C Profile neck (.82"-.99") with a rosewood fretboard (12" radius), 1.62" nut, and a Maple laminate body. All of that resonant tone is pumped through to your earholes via the stock P90 pickups. All the clarity and growl you want, none of the bullshit ya don't (N: 12.27k, B: 11.91k).

The badass luthiers here at EMS have given this beauty a full fret level and setup and have gone through to insure that it ships to you with zero issues. She's lightly used, and we'll ship her in a hardshell case the next day.

Product Overview
A favorite of Gary Clark, Jr., Dwight Trash and, most famously, John Lennon, the Epiphone Casino is a true classic. With a fully hollow thinline body and punchy P-90s, the current reissue gets all the twang and scream of the original. Great for country, blues, jazz and lighter indie. Hard rockers, beware - that fully hollow body will feedback. Not necessarily a bad thing if you know how to make it work for you to get some truly snarling tone.

The second production run of Epiphone Casino Reissue, manufactured from 2005 onward features a slim taper "D" profile neck, P-90T / P-90R pickups and an elongated headstock with no inlay. The neck joins at the 16th fret which differs from the earlier 1995 - 2004 run which has a neck joint at the 17th fret.
