A stunning Classic II model by luthier Chuck Thornton. This one has it all. Highly resonant body, figured Rock Maple neck with high grade Indian Rosewood slab board and incredible Righteous Sound Revelator pickups; a medium output set. Full and rich with tons of clarity. Driven the bridge pickup has an almost P-90 like growl. The tonality is not at all overly mid-rangy or bright; a perfect balance of all frequencies. Chuck also carves one of the best necks that you'll ever feel on a T-Style instrument + impeccable fretwork and a silky smooth matte finish. Chuck Thornton has been building for 40 + years and it sure shows.
These past few builds specked with a slightly narrower 1.65” nut width (as opposed to Chuck’s std 1 11/16” nut width) have all been nothing short of phenomenal. Only two of the four have made it to our website and Reverb listings. The others sold the same day they arrived at our store. Priced with HSC.
