The guitar is in very good condition, it has rocked throughout the years and that's how it should be! This one firmly holds it's reputation of having the legendary 50's baseball neck, it plays and has loads of definition, power and a sweet, woody cut.

In a run of about 1,800 guitars, these limited edition guitars are highly sought after, both for their playability and style.

The guitar plays absolutely well and the action is set low. The body is in excellent condition on the front, with nice signs of use where the arm will rest and on the bridge piece. The back is in good/fair condition, depending on your personal taste with a few noticeable spots where the player's belt would be.

The hardware and pickups are original, and the pots where replaced by following the same audio/linear specs of the original set up. All of the electronics work as they should, with a three-way pickup selector, individual volume controls for each pickup and a master tone control.

On the headstock, the original tuners have been replaced by previous owner who was luthier (Liberatore) and who bought the guitar back in 1976. He chose top of the line Schallers with clean gold plating made in West Germany probably before 1991. They are incredibly precise and hold tuning very well. On the back of the headstock can be found the 00 prefix, for the year 1976 along with it's Limited Edition badge.

The guitar will travel inside it's brand new Gibson - Made in USA hard shell Explorer case and it will be insured for the entirety of it's value.
