Taylor 618E in excellent condition! Minor playing wear and light dents/scratches, nothing major. Action is low and easy to play, without string buzzing; no cracks or bridge separation.

Gorgeous Spruce/Maple wood grain and color. This combination really gives this guitar a laser-sharp tone and projection. Paired with Jumbo body that boosts the otherwise too-bright-sounding tonality, making this guitar surprisingly balanced and well-suited for all genres of playing styles.

The orignal Expression system has been changed to Dimarzio Black Angel magnetic soundhole pickup. Personally, I am not a big fan of the Taylor ES pickups. The black angel sounds punchy and crystal-clear at the same time. Taylor ES1 always sounds too soft to me...The endpin assembly has been modified to accommodate the Dimarzio's endpin jack. However, all other original ES parts are still functional and in their respective places - preamp, neck pickup, body pickup, grounding plate. If you wish to restore to the factory pickup setup, you can do so by obtaining 1) a new endpin assembly (Taylor Sense will also work) and 2) grounding wire to the string plate (optional). (I’ve removed the Dimarzio for shipping)

The label inside has some peel-off, marring the serial number. However, it still clearly shows "618e".

Comes with the original hard-shell case which is also in great shape. One of the latches is bent slightly and doesn't open all the way, but still closes the case without a problem.
