Vega tenor banjo from 1925 USA. Tuning CGda.
The condition is quite good, the frets were probably changed at some point. The worn areas on the wood have been sanded and varnished to stop the wear process but retain the vintage look. The original friction tuning pegs have been relined with leather to hold the tuning. Comes with a newer Presto style tailpiece which does a very good job. Under the head is a thick round brass tone ring. New GHS strings have been installed and the head tuning and string action optimised. New Vega Style Armrest installed. Includes original vintage case.
