Gibson A-50 Style A Mandolin Sunburst Vintage 1970s w/ Deluxe Gig Bag

This instrument is a bit of a time capsule! This is a Gibson A-40 Style A Mandolin in a luscious Sunburst finish, Vintage from the 1970s in excellent shape cosmetically and structurally. Serial Number 63074. Carved spruce top, curly maple sides and arched maple back, rosewood adjustable bridge. The neck is very slim with a beautiful soft gloss nitro finish over mahogany. The tone bites and is sweet all at once. Overall weight is 2lbs. Includes Eastman gig bag, so cute! No original pickguard, tuners are a bit stiff even after lubricating them but do hold tune well, hardly any fretwear/signs of playwear (see photo series).
