About This Listing

Today, for your consideration - a 1998 Gibson Les Paul Double Cut! These rare 90s LP DCs are known for their terrific light weight and fret access in comparison to standard single cuts. This example is in very good condition and would be excellent if not for some buckle rash impression on the back. A Gibson branded gig back will be included with the sale.

Product Overview
The Les Paul Studio launched in 1983 as an affordable no-frills take on the classic Les Paul design. Like other Les Pauls, the Studio uses two humbuckers and a combination of a carved Maple top on a Mahogany body (though some early models use alder).  Unlike other Les Pauls, the Studio lacks any sort of binding on the fingerboard or body. The Les Paul Studio DC features a double-cutaway body and dot inlays.

Wood Composition: Mahogany body, carved Maple top, Rosewood fingerboard

Notable Les Paul Players: Slash, Jimmy Page, Alex Lifeson
