1977 Electra Elvin Bishop Model 2281 in Very good condition. The neck is straight and the action is low. Frets are in very good shape with plenty of life left. Electronics function as intended, pickups sound Great! Serial # B777278. Comes with non-original hardshell case.

Made for only a brief moment from about the mid '70s until around 1980, the 2281 Elvin Bishop was Electra's first professional endorsement model. This gorgeous semi-hollow body features beautiful flame maple figuring along with a Tree of Life fingerboard inlay.
Neck: Wide, flat profile maple neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with abalone/mother of pearl Tree of Life inlay. Bound headstock with Electra diecast tuners. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length.
Body: Double-bound, semi-hollow flame maple body with dual F-holes. Stop tailpiece with Tune-O-Matic bridge & 4-ply black pickguard. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 7.5 oz.
