About This Listing

60’s-70’s Sekova (Tiesco) short scale bass

Despite being a cheap dept store “toy” this thing has remained remarkably playable.

The pickup is definitely on the lower output side, but it has a sound, it’s usable, and it weighs practically nothing. I’ve had this for 12 or so years, used it live a bunch for “house band” activities, and one electro-folk show.

42.5mm width at the nut, or zero fret

21.5mm deep at the first

23+ mm at the 12th

6.6lbs

Strung up with a set of light gauge flats

All the holes and extracurriculars have been there since I bought it years ago.
