Cool vintage 1970's Cortez J-200 Jumbo acoustic guitar. Japan.
Overall in nice condition. Body shows some light checks and scratches.
Spruce top with maple back and sides.
Pickguard is missing. Truss rod cover is missing as well. Bridge thumb screws are missing.
Neck is straight, frets are in nice condition, neck angle is good. Truss rod works.
There are a couple of high frets after the 12th, a few strings buzz and fret out after the 12th, so you will need to level some of those frets.
Guitar plays well and sounds very good.
The brace that runs near the soundhole on the bass side is a little loose. It doesn't rattle when playing but if you put a little pressure in that area you can hear it creak.
Overall a cool vintage Cortez.
Comes in a soft shell case.
