This guitar is completely original without exception. There are NO repairs to note. The entire guitars finish was properly checked and there are no signs of refinishing, or over spray.

Condition Description:

This Vintage Gibson Tenor is a great playing and sounding guitar. It will show very minor flaws & finish checking, but way better than you would expect of a 60 year old vintage guitar and one of the cleanest that has come before my eyes, right along with the 63 I also have for sale. Take a look at all of the pics to see. There will obviously be minor flaws, but definitely better than most out there. The fingerboard and frets are in great shape showing extremely minimal wear (see pics). Current string height is 1/8" at the body, with full saddle to adjust to your desired string height (see pics). There is NO buckle rash to speak of, and the finish is in great condition overall. The original tuners are in excellent shape. The back of the neck and headstock are also in great condition (see pics).  The top is nice, flat, and the bridge is tight. My pics are very descriptive, so scroll down to see them all!

If your a player or collector, this Gibson Tenor will make a great addition!  Its just a great playing/sounding guitar that's in amazing condition. Although, I think its set up great, everyone has their own preferences. If your not happy with its set up, it will be your responsibility to have it set up to your liking.

The Vintage Chip Board Case is in good condition for its age (see pics). All hinges, latches and handle operate as they should, although the handle is missing. The case does show wear from age and use, but is a very nice and solid case!

Make sure you view all of the pics, and ask questions if you have any concerns before buying.
