Martin / 1976 D-76 "Bicentennial Commemorative Limited Edition"
The model released to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the US founding was a Limited Edition made in 1976 (200 in 1975, 1776 in 1976). The head is applied to the pearl inlay, and the fingerboard has a star -shaped inlay, which represents 13 states.
The same 3-piece back structure as the D-35 is used, but the same grade wood is used as the D-45. The body top has Citocus Plus, the side back has an Indian rose wood, and an ebony for fingerboards and bridges. The pegs are equipped with an original globe, and the rosetta and back strip have a herringbone decoration, making it an attractive design.
The impression of the sound is that you can still feel the nuance of Martin in the 70's, and you can see that the low mids that are dokan are ringing the whole body.
Rather than delicate phrases, powerful strokes will be true.
