Fender Custom Shop Closet Classic Telecaster 2013 - Dakota Red

Here we have a very cool Telecaster from Fender’s Custom Shop, in a classy satin Dakota Red nitro finish. Fender equipped this one with a Broadcaster single coil in the bridge for all that glorious Tele twang, accompanied by a DeArmond P90 which has tons of growl and sparkle, offering a bit more versatility than a typical single coil neck pickup. The single bound body is complemented by a matching headstock - which you don’t come across too often on these guitars - giving it a very unique, vintage aesthetic. The maple neck has a 60’s “Oval C” carve with a natural finish - it’s one of the most comfortable necks you will ever play. Action is low and fast and the neck is perfectly smooth for cowboy chords, soaring leads and everything in between.

This one is in great shape and shows a couple minor blemishes in the thin nitro finish, which is a nice start to the natural relic that is inevitable with these finishes. Original custom shop case and COA are included along with the factory hang tag.
