Orpheum Archtop Hollowbody Electric Guitar 40's-50's - Tobacco burst

I traded for this old Orpheum 10 years ago. The bridge pick up works fine. The guitar holds tune and is intonated. There is some wear on frets, but plays fine. The head stock has never been broken off. You can tell by photos. The previous owner used a tie strap at the headstock and wore off the paint. It looks like there was previous work on the neck. Maybe a new neck or reseated and repainted. The paint over all is ok, its an old guitar made in New York. I don't know if the neck pup is any good or not. I never messed with it. I pay this fairly often and have not had any issues. The volume knob is scratchy on occasion.
