Constructed entirely of tone-rich maple, the Yamaha SA503 TVL Troy Van Leeuwen Signature Electric Guitar is a semi-hollowbody with a set maple neck, bound rosewood fingerboard, and three soapbar-style single-coil pickups with a custom all-access switching system. The pickups are wired up to dual 3-way selectors that make any pickup combination possible, including reversed-phase humbucking options. A chrome pedestal bridge and a licensed Bigsby vibrato tailpiece add to the vintage feel and versatile performance. This is a guitar designed to walk the fine line between modern performance and vintage style and sound.
Modern guitarist Troy van Leeuwen has navigated his way through a variety of bands and left his indelible mark in each of them. From session work with Depeche Mode, Korn, and Limp Bizkit to his role in A Perfect Circle, Troy has done it all.
