Gibson F-5G 1998 Uncle Hershel Butts

This is a rare one!

1998 gibson f-5g owned by none other than opry vet Hershel Butts (Uncle Hershel). He was a middle TN man til his death in 2021. He was a lover of country/bluegrass music and had a new CD released just before he passed. He played on The Grand Ole Opry in the 1980’s. The guitar, fiddle, banjo, and mandolin were some of the instruments he played.

If anyone seeing this has any knowledge of this man understand how much value this peice would be in a collection of folk instruments.

now about the mandolin, some finish cracking and neck may need a tune up; there is a slight bow about half way down. no light escaping anywhere, but this things sounds fantastic. comes with custom case.
