The signature model of Peter Thorn, the session guitarist who is currently attracting the most attention from professional musicians.

Equipped with the latest version of Wilkinson Locking Tremolo bridge, the color is a combination of black top and cherry back for a cool look.
The weight is approximately 3.75 kg, which is a reasonable weight and is a well-balanced individual that is easy to use.

Pete Thorn is an all-around session musician.
His nostalgic and dynamic playing covers a wide range of genres, from legendary artists such as Don Henley, Chris Cornell, and Melissa Etheridge to tour support for Tsuyoshi Nagabuchi, and his playing sense is currently attracting the most attention from professional musicians.
He calls himself a guitar geek, but his background not only earned him a reputation as a guitarist, but also made his debut solo CD, Guitar Nerd, a top-selling album.
For the past decade, he has worked with John Suhr on developing the signature guitar, the signature amps PT100 & PT15, and the signature Thornbucker pickup.

This signature is based on the custom-spec Suhr Standard that Pete has used extensively for studio work and touring over the past few years, including a Thornbucker pickup with a Suhr-style PAF tone, and a Genuine Mahogany with Plain Maple Top. One that also includes an old taste of wood material for the body, Genuine Mahogany neck, and rosewood fingerboard.
In keeping with the Standard Dinky shape, which has long been well-regarded for its ease of holding and playing, it also features an Even C Slim neck that allows for quick and comfortable fingering.
The specs are typical of someone who has been using Suhr for a long time.

Also, the pickup layout that can be selected with a 5-way lever switch is a little unusual, but the wiring allows you to intuitively switch to the sounds you often need when playing.
Furthermore, the tone knob is a Push/Pull switch, and the bridge Hum switches to parallel wiring.
This allows you to obtain a low-output sound that does not make the line too thin, making it possible to create a sound that is between LP and ST.
There are times when it is difficult for backing musicians to use a thick guitar sound, and I think this is one of the reasons why backing tones with P90 and Mini Hum pickups are especially useful to musicians. This single signature product must be able to handle professional situations reliably.
This is a very well-thought-out assembly that outputs a sound that can be used in any selection for lead, solo, backing, and all performances.

And in response to Pete's demands for never compromising on the details, we adopted Suhr's first PU escutcheon mount.
This reflects Pete's strong commitment to ``There are sounds that can only be produced with an escutcheon mount.''

The bridge of this unit was updated to Wilkinson WVS 130 Locking Tremolo in 2019.
Co-developed by Wilkinson and Pete, this bridge is an innovative design that uses set screws at the top of each saddle to lock the strings in place.
The tuning stability is comparable to a double-lock system, but the tone and feel is similar to a two-post bridge without a lock.
The string height and octave can be easily adjusted, and there is no need to cut the ball end of the string.
When replacing the strings, just pass them through the steel block as usual and lock the set screw, making it easy to do.

This is Peter Thorn's Suhr Guitar, with its sleek, versatile, high-end design, but also a rock'n'roll attitude.
