"Moon Guitars" has been a pioneer of custom components since 1978, and is one of the most representative among the many long-established Japanese manufacturers.
The high quality of craftsmanship and sound, backed by a history of use by professional players such as Steve Lukather, Larry Graham, Mitsuru Sudo, and Keisuke Kuwata under the "Moon" and "PGM" brands, continues to attract new users today.
This is a passive circuit version of the JB "Classic" series, which has been established for many years.
The wood used is an alder body and a Honduras rosewood fingerboard with characteristics similar to Hakaranda.
Controls are 2Vol and 1Tone.
The pickups are the brand's original "OXALIS JB Pickups".
The specs do not use an active circuit, which is why the power of the Electric bass itself is questioned, this model does not waver in that power.
It boasts the tight response and intonation typical of the brand, with a low center of gravity, which is important for ensembles, and a high level of perfection that does not even require an active circuit.
The urethane finish is also used for a clear, polished tone, and it has excellent durability over time, which is not possible with lacquers.
