This is a 1965 Harmony Bobkat that has been refurbished/upcycled by Sam at Old Redbird/Cardinal Instruments in Texas.
Sam takes the husk of an old catalog style guitar and modifies them to fix the parts that make those guitars not so reliable, and keeps all the good stuff that gives those guitars all their mojo.
This guitar has had a new fretboard/frets installed, along with with a ric style bridge and Jazzmaster vibrato. Pickups are now a pair of Lollar Goldfoils And they sound incredible. Sam refinishes the guitar in a barn color milk paint.
This is a very resonant little guitar thata super fun to play with it’s short 24” scale. I am the original owner since leaving Sam‘s shop.
Comes with a rather simple and not great gig bag that shipped with it and paperwork from Old Redbird.
Please ask any questions.
Thanks!
