This is a 1981 Gallagher G-65, a guitar that is a rare find anymore. This is a beautiful dreadnought with a spruce top, Indian rosewood back and sides, and a V shaped mahogany neck. This Gallagher has seen plenty of action over the years and has quite a bit of play wear, but some would just call that character! Photos have been added to show the finish checking on headstock and the top. None of it has gone through the would and is strictly cosmetic. The saddle has been sanded down substantially, which for now gives it nice and low action, but in the future made need replaced. The frets have been level crowned multiple times over the years, and where it is getting close to needing a refret, the current frets do still have some life in them. All of that aside, this guitar has a beautiful sound with boomy lows, balanced mids and highs and plenty of volume. This guitar is just as good for our flat pickers and finger pickers alike. the original hardshell case is included. Please reach out with any questions here, or call our shop at (330) 673-1525.
