Welcome to another fine guitar from The Old Europe! Please make sure to read the entire description below carefully, and look at all the pictures.
General introduction and background:
Very nice “Winner” guitar, made by Chushin Gakki in the early 1970s. “Winner” was the brand of Musik Meyer out of Marburg, Germany, later registered as “C.G.Winner”. This model was released with different badges, including Audition.
It features original “goldfoil” pickups.
As always, the instrument has been serviced completely and is ready to be played immediately.
Measurements, weight and other specs:
-Scale: 628 mm
-Nut: 41,5 mm
-Weight: 2,7 kg
-Pickups: two goldfoil pickups (construction-wise), measuring 2,5k each. Master volume and tone, two slider switches.
-Body: laminated stripes of wood
-Neck: slim soft V shaped neck, some unknown Asian hardwood, and likely a rosewood fingerboard. The frets are small and low vintage frets, the fretboard radius is about 7,25’’
Condition:
-Body: Overall ok condition with some scratches and a tiny damage in the neck pocket, which doesn’t compromise the stability of the neck at all.
-Neck: neck is straight, frets are in good condition (9/10), there is no buzz or deadnotes; an additional strap pin hole was closed next to the original one.
-Hardware: in good shape
-Electrics: everything works as it should
-Originality: all original except for the tuner bushings and the trem arm.
Sound and Playability:
-Playability and string action: The playability is pretty good, and a low string action of just about 1,8 mm was dialed in. It could also be lowered a little bit still.
-Sound: The pickups deliver a warm, woody and considerably twangy, yet not aggressively twangy sound. Please listen to the video for a sound sample; it’s another specimen of that model line.
Repairs, Service:
As always, the instrument has been serviced completely and is ready to be played immediately.
-Completely cleaned
-Frets polished and fretboard oiled
-New set of Pyramid 10 gauge nickel strings put on
-Ready to be played (just tune it up);
Auxiliary stuff:
-No case or gigbag included. The guitar will be wrapped well, and put into a sturdy cardboard box with lots of filler material. If you wish I can buy a fitting case at your costs.

AFTER DELIVERY: After receiving the item, please inspect the package for obvious damages and make photos if there are any. After unpacking, check the item immediately for damages or other undocumented flaws. I accept a 14 days return and will pay for shipping if the item is in a different condition than described upon arrival. Please note that I will only take the item back entirely, but not grant any reduction of price and generally only accept returns if the item was unaltered after arrival.
CITES protection: all of the items I sell have been legally imported to the EU before January 1st 2017 and are registered with the authorities in Hamburg, Germany (if applicable).
