This brute was stored in a smoke free pet free home studio. I’ve updated the ibby bridge the and tuners to a gold finish as well as the rest of the hardware being replaced to gold. The original pickups were replaced with boutique Lundgren 8 pickups and they sound AWESOME!!!

I’m only selling to fund future purchases and would love for this to go to a good home.

Ibanez's most iconic guitar, the RG (short for "Rock Guitar") can be seen as the company's Stratocaster or Les Paul. As the company's flagship model, the RG has been in production for over three decades and has undergone a number of iterations in various lines and limited edition models.

The Prestige series is Ibanez's higher-end line of guitars manufactured exclusively in Japan since 2009. This series features precise machine construction and finishing with an emphasis in Japanese craftsmanship.

The RG852MPB is an eight-string model built with a dual DiMarzio humbucker design, Ultra-8 neck, and Poplar Burl top.

Wood composition: Poplar Burl top, basswood body, five-piece maple/Wenge neck, maple fretboard

Features: Gotoh Magnum Lock machine heads, dual DiMarzio PAF 8 passive ceramic pickups, Ultra-8 neck, 24 jumbo frets w/ Prestige fret edge treatment, Gibraltar Standard II-8 bridge, five-position pickup selector, black dot inlay, parallel-connected neck humbucker
