About This Listing

Magantone M12 Tube Bass Amp in Very good condition. Sounds great and looks to be in original condition outside of some tubes changed. Here's some technical info i pulled online:

This is a 1965 Magnatone M12 CustomTube Amp. These amps were produced by Magnatone in Los Angeles, California USA from 1963 to 1966. The M12 Custom was designed as a 80 watt bass amp with one 15" speaker. It turned out to be much like the Fender Bassman an amp that guitar players preferred more than bass players.

The Magnatone M12 was a powerful bass combo amplifier designed in 1963 and produced until 1967. Two 6CA7/EL34 power pentodes supplied 85W peak output to a single heavy duty 15" speaker. The M12 had two input channels, and an extension speaker jack for an optional extension cabinet. A central aspect of the M12 was it's use of 6CA7/EL34 power pentode tubes and push-pull output transformer with a 3500Ω primary winding. M12 were fitted with a heavy duty ceramic 15" Jensen speaker
