Selling my Korg OASYS 88 here in the UK - please see details below including various issues. Please PM if interested.

No box or case so would require collecting from Chelmsford, Essex, UK.

• Original HDD & 2GB RAM Expansion.
• Includes power lead & Korg damper pedal (has half-damper capability).
• Includes original Operations manual but no Parameters manual (too big in printed form) but can supply as PDF.
• Original CDs included plus 1.3.1 and 1.3.3 updates and Reauthorisation CD.

Main Issue

The trigger pads are faulty and upon boot up, they self-trigger randomly for a few minutes requiring switching between modes to stop it, but this overtriggering causes the MIDI Out to stop working due to data overload. This is a known problem as detailed on Facebook Korg OASYS group (search Vivid Art’s posts)

Other Issues

• Faulty top F key fixed by pressing at very top of key
• Rubber on slider caps melting due to age - seems to be a general thing for a certain type of rubber
• Membrane switches can be slow / intermittent - known issue with design / age though have been cleaned
• Screen very top is intermittent due to inability to calibrate fully

All other functions work ok including sequencer.

Has recently had new clock battery fitted.

Home use only - never gigged. In otherwise excellent cosmetic condition. Plays fine as expected.

Owned since virtually new - bought privately fully boxed from original emigrating UK owner in 2008.

Sad to part with this beautiful keyboard as was the centrepiece of my home studio till it developed the pads / MIDI Out issue - hoping someone can fix it and return it to proper functioning condition.
