For authentic tone we re-voiced the pair of single-coil Jazz Bass pickups to sound more like the originals. Gritty and growling, they have the tone that made the J Bass popular. The "'70s C"-shaped neck has a 7.25"-radius bound fingerboard with pearloid block inlays and 20 vintage-style frets for classic playing feel. A vintage-style, 4-saddle bridge with threaded saddles and '70s vintage-style stamped open-gear tuning machines offer original-era aesthetics, rock-solid performance and tuning stability. Other features include 34" scale length, chrome hardware and 4-bolt neck plate. Includes a deluxe gig bag.

Condition:

The guitar has a small finish imperfection under the clear coat on the back of the neck. Otherwise, it is in excellent, near mint condition. The techs found no other issues and it has little to no play wear. It looks, plays and sounds great! Please see pictures for overall condition of the guitar. These guitars are sent directly from the manufacturer to the authorized refurbishing center where they are fully inspected, set up and cleared by a certified technician. They are sent there for many reasons, including: returns, cosmetic flaws, minor repairs, surplus & discontinued or last years models. The guitars serial number may be partially altered and/or replaced and the back of the headstock is lightly stamped "used" by the authorized refurbishing center per manufacturer agreements.
