According to multiple articles written about Bruno instruments, C. Bruno & Son was a distributor of musical instruments based out of New York from about 1868 - till roughly 1971. In their time, several Bruno instruments were made which includes mandolins, banjos, and of course.. guitars.
Their company was a distributor of foreign and domestic goods and worked with certain manufacturers to craft instruments under the "Bruno" brand to be sold through their catalog and storefronts. This guitar appears to be one of these such ventures.
The guitar has wiring issues creating cutouts in our play test of the instruments. Along with this, the guitars neck pitch is off creating extremely high action at the higher frets. Finally, the guitar also has a missing screw in the pickguard. With the right repair services, new strings, and a setup, this guitar could be a great playing guitar with an amazing history to pair with.
Guitar would ship in a simple chipboard case that it arrived in to our storefront. Case would be purely for protection in transit and is not recommended for continued use due to cosmetic and structural wear. No additional accessories or items are included.
