About This Listing

2006 Gretsch G6128, '57 Reissue. Made in Japan in 2006 after Fender had acquired Gretsch. Fender upgraded the quality of these guitars significantly and was building them much closer to the original specs than before. If you've never played one of these....they're fantastic. I'm a collector who's lucky enough to own over 100 guitars and I can say this is at the top of the list in terms of quality, fit and finish, and playability. The only knock on these early Fender reissues was the Dynasonic pickups didn't sound like the originals. I did some homework and the consensus was that Lindy Fraylin was building the best Dynasonics out there. That's what's in this guitar and they sound great! $318 for a set of these.

This was a "place holder" guitar for me. One that I owned until I could find a real vintage '57 Duo Jet. I scored one earlier this year and so this one's going to a new owner. You will not be disappointed in this guitar. It kills!

Original case included.

Flat rate shipping to the continental US. Buyer responsible for insurance if desired. Let me know an I'll get a quote on that.

Thanks for looking.
