About This Listing

This is a 2006 Fender American Vintage Reissue '62 Jazzmaster with an Ocean Turquoise Metallic finish. It has the classic appointments of an original '62, including its medium C-shaped neck, 25.5" scale, and vibrato tailpiece with rocking bridge. It also has a slab rosewood fretboard. Its saddles have been changed, but is otherwise original. It is in fantastic condition, with some wear on its headstock decal, and some light scuffs near its side. It's a total dream to play, sounds amazing, and looks awesome!

It has been professionally setup and comes with its bridge cover and a newer Fender hardshell case.

Product Overview
Though it's no longer in production, the Fender American Vintage '62 Jazzmaster was a member of the company's esteemed American Vintage Reissue series, designed to the specs of old-school favorites. This one, of course, was based on the original '62 Jazzmaster, which was renowned for its place in the surf rock tunes of the '60s, as well as a smattering of other defining genres over the following decades. With two single-coil soapbar pickups, a three-way pickup selection switch, and a floating tremolo system, among other design elements matched to its vintage counterpart, the American Vintage '62 Jazzmaster is a great way to get those retro vibes flowing.
