This Epiphone Rivoli was made by Gibson in the USA in 1968. The top of the bass was refinished a walnut color, but the back, sides, and neck have the original finish. It has lots of wear but no structural damage and has a cowboy cool decal on the front. A previous owner added a second pickup in the bridge position, which looks to be a 70's melody maker pickup, as well as an extra volume and tone pot. The neck pickup is the correct type but appears to be a more recent pickup than the bass. The tuners and bridge are original. The baritone switch has been disconnected and no longer functional. This is a great playing and sounding bass. It comes with a Gibson EB-2 case that is pretty rough but functional.
