FROM HEATLEY GUITARS:

Our guitars are as much at home in your basement studio, on stage with your indie band or the down and dirty blues jam at your local hole in the wall. It doesn’t matter what style of music you play we have a guitar that can compliment your personal style.

Heatley Guitars was founded in 1997 with a very humble loan and a tiny shop. From the beginning the idea was to build high quality guitars in small numbers and it remains that way to this day. The output is kept limited to ensure the quality stays high. I used my years as a tech before I started building to hone my setup and fretwork skills. I actually started the business so I could have more guitars. It took off faster than I thought and after a few years it turned into a full blown shop with a CNC machine and all the toys. I build guitars because I am obsessed with them and I love to build. It is my art and my passion.

NOTE TO OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS:

We want you to be happy with your purchase and we try to represent the condition of all used and vintage guitars as accurately as possible in our listings.  Every used guitar shows some signs of play wear and vintage models even more so.  We call out all areas of damage or unusual wear, and describe the overall condition based upon what is "normal" for the age of the instrument.  Expect to see minor dings, finish checking, or other evidence of normal use and aging which may not be captured by photography or explicitly mentioned in the listing.

We recognize that everyone has their own personal standard of what constitutes acceptable wear and tear.  If play wear is especially critical for you, please contact us at the Shop for a complete in-hand description and to answer any questions you may have.  Your satisfaction is of paramount importance to us.
