This Larrivee SD-60 Acoustic Guitar was made in the USA in Oxnard California. Larrivee is a family owned business which originally started in Canada but later moved to Oxnard. They build guitars in small lots with grat attention to detail. This beautiful guitar consists of Rosewood Body, Mahogany neck, tight grain spruce top, and ebony fingerboard and bridge, accented with natural wood binding. This instrument is a delight to play and sets standards that many manufacturers strive for.
This guitar is a unique "Romani" Style, note the slotted headstock, body and neck meet on 12th fret, wider classical neck. To me it is a classical design with steel strings.
