This is a 1979 Guild X-500 hollowbody finished in natural with gold hardware. The guitar undergone a neck reset over the years, with evidence of the (quality) work done around the neck heel. There's some cosmetic wear around the body including small dents and dings. Interestingly, someone has attempted to cut down on noise and feedback by placing insulation on the inside of the body. The tailpiece is replaced with a fresher model of the same Guild part. There's light fretwear on the first five frets - no dead notes or buzzing. It's a great player and a quality '70s Guild. A Gibson hardshell case from the '70s is included.
